Highly efficient logistics and distribution system is the core competitiveness of chain supermarket. This paper takes the supermarket chain YG as an example, make the supermarket to improve logistics efficiency, reduce logistics costs, maximize reduce the circulation link, realize the interest, using the way of combining theoretical and does empirical research on the location of distribution center.This paper first introduces the background of the topic, research status at home and abroad and the research method and content. It illustrates the basic idea and comprehensively expounded the supermarket chain logistics and distribution status and characteristics, distribution center location principle, procedure, and methods.This paper then focuses on the analysis of the existing problems of YG chain supermarket logistics distribution system, aiming at the existing problems, putting forward the necessity of the establishment of distribution center. It also narrated, the factors affecting the YG supermarket chain distribution center location and compares and analyzes the specific circumstances of each YG regional supermarket chain in Taizhou area, Taizhou City, Taixing City, and Gaogang district as a candidate. It utilizes AHP model and the experts research to construct the matrix, data and calculation to find the solution, and finally to calculate the alternative value, and analyse and evaluate the results and determine the location of the distribution center for the city of Taixing.
