As the tourism economy grows continuously, more and more visitors enjoy going to theme parks, which has become the center of development for the national and regional tourism industry. Some high level and larger theme parks have enhanced the influence of regional tourism, pushed the development of related industries, improved the level of the local resident’s entertainment and promoted urban tourism development. But some theme parks, after a period of vigorous growth, have shown a declining trend. This article focuses on the core features of theme parks which helps you understand consumer satisfaction, find out the advantages and the need to improve the project of theme park operations and helps the managers provide basic decision making, improve service quality, enhance competitiveness and extend the life cycle of these parks.This paper uses "Phuket Fantasea’" theme park as the research subject. First, it outlines the research areas of theme parks by defining the relevant concepts and then reviewing the study of theme park tourism research and tourist satisfaction theory. Then, it constructs a preliminarily tourist satisfaction measurement model and evaluation index system for theme parks. Secondly, it makes an empirical research of the index system through a questionnaire. Third, using SPSS statistical analysis software to collect data on the reliability analysis, cross-table analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis, this thesis details "Phuket Fantasea’s" major consumer and tourist’s satisfaction which will encourage future customer revisits because of these factors. Finally, it offers a few suggestions on how to improve consumer satisfaction of the "Phuket Fantasea" theme park.
