In the real economic context, insufficient domestic demand, the external economic weakness, the new town has become a new driving force to promote economic development and economic potential. After the implementation of the strategy in the three years, the urbanization rate continues to increase in Hebei Province. But generally speaking, the development of urbanization in Hebei Province, there are still problems-the urbanization rate is still lower than the national average, the urbanization rate is lower than the rate of industrialization, insufficient urbanization, the urban-rural gap is too large, the results of urbanization benefit is not enough. Therefore, there has certain practical significance to Research the problem of urbanization in Hebei Province and to explore new urbanization development strategy.In this study, Hebei Province as the main object of study, first a clear understanding of the current situation of urbanization in Hebei Province, using principal component analysis method to analysis the urbanization level of11urban areas in Hebei Province, and using a method of comparative analysis the gap of municipalities urbanization level between them; At the same time, using principal component analysis method to analysis urbanization level of the eastern provinces surrounding, and using a method of comparative analysis the gap of municipalities urbanization level through between Hebei Province and the cities;and Summary of the problem in the urbanization in Hebei Province; Finally, Proposed the overall development strategy of the new urbanization in Hebei Province and regional urbanization strategy according to the regional pattern of Hebei Province(ie, ring the capital city group, south center city new urbanization development strategy group and the Bohai city Belt).This thesis is composed of five parts:in the first part, introduce the research background and research methods and ideas, sort out the study core concepts and research in the field of the current situation; in the second part, introduce the new urbanization and its associated theory, laying the theoretical foundation for following theoretical analysis; in the third part, build the level of urbanization evaluation system of Hebei Province; in the fourth part, analysis urbanization development status in Hebei Province and the problems; in the fifth part, propose a whole new urbanization development strategy and regional new urbanization development strategy combining with the regional pattern of Hebei Province.
