The Research About Improving The Level Of Hebei Province’ Urbanization

At the16th Party Congress, the government put forward to accelerate the process ofurbanization clearly, then make it as a national development strategy. The18th Party Congressrefer to the new type of urbanization again, but this emphasis on human-centered. In2014，thecentral working conference of urbanization also stress urbanization must be based on theprimary stage of socialism basic national conditions in China，following the rules to make theurbanization development process of a follow. Thus, the importance of urbanization is moreand more obvious, China’s urbanization has a long way. The urbanization development inHebei province is not smooth，the purpose of this study is to further settling the mechanismclarify, at the same time providing valuable suggestions to improve the level of urbanizationin Hebei province.To improve the level of urbanization, theoretical discussion about the mechanismimproving urbanization level is necessary. First, this paper refer to the theory of urbanization,for example, the binary structure theory, growth pole theory and so on, then summarizes themechanism of raising the level of urbanization on this basis. Second, on the basis oftheoretical research, analysis of the existing problems in Hebei province. Finally, consideringthe practical situation to find the policy recommendations for improve the level of populationurbanization in Hebei province.Through the studying, the problems of urbanization in Hebei province includes thefollowing. The level of urbanization is lower than the national average, the industrializationare not coordinate with the urbanization, the land urbanization increase faster than thepopulation urbanization. These problems are not only the common to the development ofurbanization, that involves Hebei province itself also.According to the above research, this paper argues that to enhance the level ofurbanization in Hebei province, especially the population urbanization level, not only frominstitutional reform, more actual measures are needed. Such as paying more attention onthe advantages of location, speeding up the industrialization to strengthen the economicbasis, promoting the medium cities and small towns development coordinately. At last, through the study of this article, the author hope the level of urbanization in Hebei provincecan be enhanced.
