Empirical Study On Developing Grassland Agriculture In Hunan Province

Grassland agriculture plays an important part of agriculture, the basic content is the introduction of pasture to the traditional agricultural system, forage planting and herbivore breeding as the core, taking ecology and economy into account, the sustainable development agriculture of meeting modern food structure demand. Developing grassland agriculture is the fundamental way to solve the problem of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", at the same time, it has a great significance to guarantee food security, relieve the contradictions of people and animals struggling to land and food, improve the ecological environment.At present, the development research of grassland agriculture in our province is still in its infancy. Study on the basis of grassland agriculture developing current situation of Hunan Province, by using the theory of system coupling, ecological economics and sustainable development theory system, combined with literature data and field investigation, analyzing the present situation and existing problems of grassland agriculture in Hunan Province, the opportunities and challenges of grassland agriculture development, discussing the development mode of grassland agriculture and the transformation way of agricultural growth, the strategic way of increasing farmers’ income and agricultural economy sustainable development in Hunan Province, etc. The main results as follows:1. Grassland agricultural development in Hunan Province has the following main problems:the traditional agricultural production consciousness has not been completely change, the government doesn’t pay enough attention, less investment of science and technology, management system is not perfect, the low level of organization of production and operation, the degree of pratacultural industrialization needs to be improved.2. The necessity of the development of grassland agriculture in Hunan Province: obvious resources advantages, government macro policy support, broad prospects for the development of grassland agriculture market, while facing the opportunities and challenges of food security, the development of grassland agriculture can adjust the industrial structure of animal husbandry, raise livestock products market competitiveness, increase economic benefit and protect ecological environment.3. According to the natural conditions of Hunan Province (light, temperature, water, etc.), the development mode of grassland agriculture with grass crops rotation, fruit (forest)-grass-animal husbandry-marsh ecological agriculture mode, grass-fruit (forest)-fish mode, grassland animal husbandry appropriate.4. According to the situation of grass industrialization of Hunan Province, the development direction of grassland agricultural industrialization management pattern with "government+company+cooperative+farmer" mode,"leading enterprise+association+base+farmer" mode and "scientific research institution+enterprise+cooperative+farmer" mode appropriate.5. According to the strategic target of the development of grassland agriculture of Hunan Province, advanced the development of grassland agriculture strategic approach: the first is to strengthen the understanding of grassland ecological agriculture development, the scientific and technological promotion and services, increase the farmer’s enthusiasm for production, restructure resources, strengthening the construction of grass industry infrastructure; the second is to set up enterprises and farmers benefit distribution safeguard mechanism and grassland agriculture industry chain, support and develop typical leading enterprises; the third is to strengthen the opening to the outside world, improve the market competitiveness of livestock products.This study provides a reference for grassland agricultural development in Hunan Province, finally realize the sustainable development of grassland agriculture.
