Evaluation Of Urban Construction Land Intensive Use In Ningxiang County

The contradiction between growing demand of construction land and limited supply of land resources has been augmented increasingly prominent in recent years. Controlling the range of construction land and improving the intensive use of construction land has become the inevitable direction of land development. The level of construction land intensive use not only plays a role in the allocation of resources, but also affects the China’s economy-society sustainable development.In this paper, Ningxiang County has been selected as the study area. The result of study is based on the methods including questionnaires, local visits and the Ningxiang second land use survey results. The theoretical analysis and empirical study of the construction land intensive use are based on mathematical statistics and AHP-level analysis. In this research evaluation system of construction land intensive use has been established. Simultaneously, the level of land intensive use of33townships in Ningxiang County has been evaluated and analyzed.In this paper, the evaluation results of construction land intensive use are measured by scores.In this evaluation system, The indicators systems of urban construction land intensive use and rural construction land intensive use are different. The results show that the level of construction land intensive use of Ningxiang County has large room to upgrade, especially in some townships the scale of construction land are growing so fast and the level of construction land intensive use are improving slowly.Finally, according to the results of the evaluation and the different land use planning of city and county, based on its current land use characteristics, this paper proposed several suggestions such as controlling the scale of construction land, paying attention to the transformation of the old city, optimizing land use structure. These suggestions would improve construction land use intensity in Ningxiang county.
