Increasing levels of urbanization, accelerating the process of industrialization is the inevitable trend of economic and social development, but also an important symbol of the modern, the rapid development of the socio-economic construction land demand is also increasing. Basic human life as well as the city’s infrastructure construction are inseparable from the land, the very limited land resources is a regional economic survival of the carrier, but also the city’s economic development in the space constraints. With the improvement of human civilization, the accelerated process of urbanization, land use structure of the factors of production are also changes in the continuously expanding needs of urban construction land, this is bound to take up a lot of land, resulting in the total arable land per capita arable land area decreasing arable land as agricultural production important input factors, a certain quantity and quality of arable land is the most basic human livelihood security, the protection of farmland is an urgent need, the amount of cultivated land or a decline in quality, not only affect people’s lives, and more will hinder the economic development of the city, causing social turmoil and in the process of urbanization such a prominent contradictions background, how reasonable, rational expansion of construction land in order to protect the rapid development of industrialization, urbanization, while food security security of land required for the inviolability of the current need to address the most important and most difficult problems.This paper first introduces the thesis research background, purpose, meaning and scholars at home and abroad in this thesis Research, and the research methods and innovations.The second section describes the content and level of urbanization measure, the connotation of construction land and land supply and demand for land, urbanization and land supply and demand related research theoretical basis.Again combined with land use change data and socio-economic statistical data analysis the historical trend of land for construction purposes in the process of urbanization in Liaoning Liaoning Province from1996to2009, and10selected from the social, economic and other aspects affect the process of urbanization in Liaoning construction the amount of land drivers of change, using a combination of correlation analysis and gray correlation analysis, with Eviews and gray correlation analysis software screening factors that affect the larger and higher correlation to changes in the amount of land for construction, Then all the factors the creation of demand for land for construction of multiple linear regression prediction model, and models were tested to finalize ultimately more in line with the actual situation of the model, using the model to predict the future of Liaoning required amount of land for construction, according to the prediction results of further analysis comparing Liaoning construction land supply and demand contradiction in the process of urbanization.And then on the basis of the above quantitative analysis, further qualitative analysis of the contradiction between supply and demand of land for construction in the process of urbanization in Liaoning, Finally, drawing on several typical countries and cities to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of land for construction experience in the process of urbanization based on the combination of Liaoning Province own economic development and land use, to make a few targeted to resolve the process of urbanization in Liaoning the contradiction between supply and demand of land for construction policy recommendations.
