In recent years, the "Countryside,Agriculture and Farmer" work has been a top priority to develop agricultural economy. The adjustment and transformation of rural economic stucture have become the "Three rural" priority. With development concept of the "Low carbon economy" proposed, the agricultural development of "low consumption, low pollution, high efficiency, high gain" is bound to the first choice of China’s agriculture. Mushroom industy development become the focus of agricultural projects because of these siries of economic development ideas.Hubei Province is a major exporter of edible fungus and its exports ranked first in China. But the yield and value of edible funguns don’t have absolute advantage compared to the major provinces such as Fujian,Zhejiang and Shandong. So,considering themushroom processing sectors, it is great necessity to research the technical efficiency further for improvement of mushroom denterprises. The mushroom industry of Suizhou is typical in Hubei Province. This paper select sixteen companies in this region as the sample to conduct the questionaire survey based on prior investigation, selecting key input and output indicators. Technical efficiency and impact factors are estimated and analyzed by using DEA and Eviews6.0software. The conclusions are followed.(1)2008-2012, technical efficiency of mushroom processing enterprises in Hubei Province is volatile on the whole. This fluctuation is mainly affected by the fulctuation of pure technical efficiency.(2)Comparee to enterprises of different production scale, the technical efficiency of large-scale export enterprise is low and bolatile. On the contrary, the technical efficiency and production sacle of medium and small-sized enterprises is relatively stable.(3)The company sales net interest, investment in research funding, the wage level of research (technical) staff have a significant positive impact on technical efficiency.(4)The total number of employees, the proportion of scientific and technological personnel to total employees and the proportion of raw material purchase cost accounting for total sales have a significant negative impact on technical efficiency.(5)The proportion of highly educated staff to total employees does’t show a significant effect on technical efficiency. Finally, the paper put forward the feasible and targeted policies for business and goverment based on the research conclusions.
