Storage and transportation of materials is an important and essential part ofmodern large-scale bio-energy enterprises. Storage site is the logistics hub of aenterprise whose operation management’s safety, efficiency,rapidness and low costproduces an great effect on modern management of enterprise. Standard andoptimization of storage and transportation of materials field management cancontribute to accelerate the speed of transportation of all kinds of finished products,raw materials, spare parts and others in the supply chain that helps the enterprisegains greater economic benefits, safety effectiveness and cultural benefits.I apply the related analysis methods of operation management to study theimprovement of the storage and transportation of materials field management for theCOFCO Zhaodong Company.Using for reference and introducing some of theworld’s leading5S excellent management,combining the actual situation of thecompany storage and transportation field, I designed one set of scheme that suitedthe5S field management of the COFCO Zhaodong Company so that it can help ourcompany to further improve and optimize the storage and transportation fieldmanagement.We manage our company in a normative, organized and scientific wayto raise working efficiency, reduce the transportation cost and improve the operationlevel.First of all, I did some basic research on COFCO Zhaodong materials storageand transportation field management and I also did further analyses for mainworkflow and storage and transportation’s advantages and disadvantages. From that Ifound out many problems. I began to study from these current problems. From theseproblems, combing the actual situation of the storage and transportation of materialsfield management in our company, I did some deep discussions on its formingreasons, traced their roots and found out its crucial reason. I go a step further toanalyze, solve and optimize the problem with the help of some effective study methods so that we can remove obstacles for carrying out5S field management.Secondly, based on the basic research and analysis, I ascertained the overallplan of the implementation of5S field management COFCO Zhaodong companystorage and transportation of materials. To ensure that the5S site management is notjust a formality, we decided to carry out3S basic management first and consolidatingand promoting it step by step by strengthening "consolidation","rectification" and"cleaning" over and over again. We achieve "consolidation" by means of thesystematic management to the working space. We achieve "rectification" by meansof the systematic management to the working time. We achieve "cleaning" by meansof the systematic management of smudginess and breakdown. After consolidating3Sfoundation, we intensify the comprehensive upgrade of "cleaning" and "literacy". Weachieve "cleaning" by means of continually advance management of strengtheningfield management. We achieve "literacy" by strengthening the field atmosphere andclimate management, so we can achieve the final change from3S to5S. Accordingto the progressive enforcement from5S to3S, we promote progressive advancementorderly. In addition, I find out several operation methods that is the most suitableway for the actual situation of storage and transportation of materials company, suchas5WHY analysis,6what analysis and so on. Thus, I select several managementways which can improve efficiently the operation level to go on further study, suchas proposal improvement, the red card to do battle, deming circle and so on.Finally, I emphasize and analyze three aspects of guarantee aimed at theenforcement that storage and transportation of materials carry out5s fieldmanagement. We have powerful executive force and we can carry it out logicallyand scrupulously，promoting orderly only when we have organizational guarantee.We can decompose our target, focus on the system on the basis of flow and combinethe specialized knowledge to form basic standard specifications and to make ourscheme carried out efficiently only when we have institutional guarantee. We didexamination and evaluation in an object way, fairly, justly and in public. We rewardthe good and fine the bad, encourage the advancement and eliminate staff’s flukemind to ensure the scheme can be put in practice among the staff actively. I believethat this scheme will help COFCO Zhaodong company to further tamp the basis of storage and transportation management and play a important part in improvingbusiness operational efficiency.
