The DAAE Corporation was founded in the early1980s, mainly embarking onthe production of mini automobile engine and gearbox with300,000units per year.At the initial stage, the production and management of the corporation was operatedby planning economy system running in aero enterprises. Nowadays, modern marketeconomy system has been introduced into DAAE Corporation with the progress ofdomestic automobile industry and the development of the enterprise itself. Therefore,some factors and details involved in production management, especially for theworking team, are urged to be changed.The working team is the smallest management element and undertakes thesignificant production task, so the management level of the corporation depends onthat of the working team. By theoretical research in combination with the actual stateof the working team from various workshops, it is found that the managementprogram of the working team is extensive, basically the copy of productionorganization mode under planning economy system. The Alteration and improvementhasn’t been made with the adjustment of the organization in DAAE Corporation.Meanwhile, the working team is poor in the ability of growth-up and development,failing to provide the development opportunity for the members, failing to provide thetechnical training for the members, failing to specify the process flow of the routineproduction problems after some function departments was revoked for theimplementation of a class management in DAAE Corporation. As a result, manyproblems have occurred including equipments, tools, quality, logistics, lack of staffs,inadequate staff skill and cost control, leading to low productivity, difficult costcontrol and instable quality. To solve these problems, the lean management of theworking team is carried out in DAAE Corporation. By this way, the management ofthe working team can be strengthened and the management level of the corporationcan be improved. Sharp tool makes good work. In the process of optimization research, first of all,a lot of books about lean manufacturing and management and control of the workingteams were refereed as the theoretical basis. Combined with the actual situation of theenterprises, some sections which is suitable for actual management of the corporationis picked out to make some improvement. Secondly, some advanced enterprises suchas Changchun FAW, Changan Ford and Beiqi Foton are visit to introduce the matureexperience and speed up the optimization process of working team lean managementof the corporation. Lastly, in the process of actual implementation, pilot is conductedin the selected point and then promote after success in order to avoid the chaos of theproduction order for the improper management style and the inadaptation.In this paper, research on working team manufacturing lean management invarious domestic advanced enterprises is detailed presented. Some examples beforeand after the optimization of working team manufacturing lean management inDAAE Corporation are introduced. The factors and links which should be focused onand improved in the process of working team manufacturing lean management inDAAE Corporation are discussed. The significance and necessity of leanmanagement in the process of working team production management is proved byimprovement and promotion of key factors and links, which provides the styles andmethods for the corporation to improve the management level of working team.
