The Logistics Supplier Selection Of The X Company For Strategic Alliance

Today,in the rapid development of the SC and economic globalization,the competition between enterprises has already become the competition between SC,not the individuals.Therefore, more and more companies are seeking cooperation with other companies in the SC to give play to their advantages and achieve the goal of1+1>2. Strategic Alliance emerge as the times require.In the Strategic Alliance,the enterprises can give full play to their core advantages,work together to achieve win-win.The X company as a manufacturing company is developing fast. Logistics has become a bottleneck of its development.And the ability of logistics suppliers partly reflect the soft power and image of the X company. So it is the right time that the X company begin to improve its logistics operation and establish the Strategic Alliance with the logistics supplier.But the current method of selecting the X company’s logistics supplier do not match.As a lot of practice has proved the performance of the logistics supplier plays an irreplaceable role in enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises and reducing the logistics cost of the enterprises. Because only the enough excellent logistics supplier can meet the changing demand of the logistics.Based on the condition and objective,this paper describes detail the logistics, the logistics supplier and the method of selection and points out the problem by visit and investigation with the Logistics Department of the X company. Secondly,the paper initially establishes the evaluation index system of the selection on the logistics supplier for the strategic alliance.Then the paper improves the index system by inviting experts to grade for the evaluating indicator and using SPSS to analyze the data.This has increased the scientific of the index system.Finally,the writer asks the related experts and scholars to grade the five logistics suppliers according to the index system.Then we get the weight of each index by AHP and entropy according to the grade and calculate the score of each supplier by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. We can sort the five logistics suppliers intuitively based on the score. The purpose of this paper is to provide the basic for the logistics supplier selection of the X company and prepare for the follow-up work of the X company.
