Since the90s of the last century, the income of farmers and the problem of agricultural production gradually become diehard. Since the beginning of the new century, the party and the county had pay more attention about this,treated the "three rural" as a top priority, and proposed a series of policies and measures. Among these, scale agricultural development and the appropriate scale of operation looks as the important means to solve the problem of agricultural production and the income of the farmers. Therefore, scientific reasonable human and understanding the meaning of the scale agriculture’s strengths and weaknesses, effectively regulating the the moderate scale agriculture operations, is significant.The research, the operating scale agriculture farmers as the object, based on the theory of scale economics, cutting-edge production function theory and elements of economic theory, discuss the problem of scale agricultural production productivity, production efficiency, control and optimization for its moderate scale.The research, the scale of agricultural production and management as the core, focus on the study of the following two parts:(1) the study of the theoretical approaches:on the basis of the concept defined, from three aspects, mainly analysis the points of the compare and regulation theoretical approaches of scale agricultural production, namely:scale agricultural land productivity model, the scale of investment in agriculture output rate DEA efficiency estimation model, the control of the appropriate scale factor mobility and balance model;(2) applied research: mainly carried out food, vegetables, aquatic, three land-intensive agricultural industry scale operation investigation in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, discuss the application validation about the proposed model, scale agricultural production analytical model and moderate scale regulation balance model, discusses the land circulation intention between different industries. Including:(1) Build a production function based on the maximum likelihood production, and on this basis, construct a curve of land productivity on the scale of operation, C-D production function quantitative analysis model, as the theoretical basis model of the quantitative analysis. The model:(2) Carry out empirical research about Kunshan scale agriculture productivity in different industries, discuss the land productivity changes in food (Rice-wheat double cropping), vegetables (facility melon), aquaculture (fish) on different scale level, indicating that the land expansion of the role cannot upgrade the productivity significant. Rice double cropping with conventional fish, land-scale output elasticity is negative, but the land size and total investment sum of elasticity is positive. Including:(1) Define the optimal scale agricultural production efficiency target-"the best combination of land and input", build the estimation model about the productivity from the land and input factors, comparative analysis of the theoretical model based on the input-output ratio of DEA efficiency estimation model; provide a basis for scale agricultural production possibility.(2) Carried out an empirical research about different industries production efficiency in Kunshan, discuss scale farmer productivity performance of food (Rice-wheat double cropping), vegetables (facility melon), aquaculture (fish); pointed out that the overall performance of efficiency ib the scale agricultural operations has not reached the best state. Facilities melon-scale farmers in the0.33-0.67ha group,0.67-1.00hectares,1.00-1.67ha category groups and other intermediate size group performed better overall efficiency, while the conventional fish-scale farmers in the2.00-3.33ha group,>3.33hectares groups and other large-scale group performed better overall efficiency.C an appropriate scale of operation optimization model. Including:(1) Based C-D production function quantitative analysis model, build the the land marginal profitability CD production function model. Including:(1) Based on the large-scale agricultural productivity, production efficiency analysis, carried out scale farmers survey of food (Rice-wheat double cropping), vegetables,(facilities melon), Fisheries (General),3land-intensive agricultural industry, in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province,, a total of170.(2) Preliminary analysis the survey data, mainly compare the different manifestations of the production activities in sub-scale group of three industry. Facilities melon0.67-1.00ha group,1.00-1.67ha scale farmers groups performed better land productivity, conventional fish2.00-3.33ha scale farmers groups performed better land productivity, have shown "high in the middle, two low" characteristics. And the scale of planting two crops of rice and wheat farmers in the<3.33hectares of land for small-scale groups of larger productivity than other groups.
