This article developed the new product process for TY company base on the depthstudy. we established the project team to work together and our key project member camefrom the different function related product development, we made the deep discuss throughthe group work and expert interview, hope to find the problem of current process and theimplementation issues, we also wanted to redesign the new product process.In the meantime, we introduced the six sigma DFSS and State-gate management theory, to make thenew process focus on "oriented by customer demand", pay attention on the deliveryquality and promote the team work culture, the main value is:Strength the schedule management for the new product project, the mostimportant KPI for the project is launch on time.Set the gate review point in different phase of process, introduce the State-Gateconcept and establish the expert team to control the quality and allocate theresource for different product project.Clear the responsibilities of related department, coordinate them to deliver theoutput base on the process request, we define the special department to managethe process and have the approval authority.Enhance the financial assessment and technical and process feasibility evaluation,the emphasis of project management is the risk and prevention management.Maintain the flexible of business, we design the different process depend on thecomplexity of product project.The new process simplified the production process, only applied to the maturecompany that have implemented the quality system. At meantime, new process consideredthe TY corporate competence and industry feature, only applied for the process productand have intact technical specification and low R&D request industry.Through3months of intense work, we finished the new product redesign, and had therecognized by the management team, the new process contribute the capabilityimprovement on corporate product management, Relieve the failure risk and improve theROI for new product. Push the key resource focus on the strategic product build. Help toimprove the brand and enhance the competitor advantage. Make a positive role forcompany to participate the market competition.
