By the end of2011the goverment has given a list of all69resource exhaustedcities.The issues such as urban transformation or the recycle of abandoned mineslowly cause the attention of people.Scholaras from geological,landscape design andmany other field bagin to study on these cities.They make every effort to find asustainanble development way to avoid these cities close down with their mines.Insuch circumatances,industrial tourism takes people’s eyes because it is sustainabledevelopment,environmental friendly and could give more jobs.Then more and morepeople begin to work on ways that the mine city’s industrial tourism development.The earlier study of mining city and mining enterprises in our country focused ongeological hazard’s prevention and control,mining waste water treament and landpollution.Later,with the concept of industrial tourism come on in,people start a tryingthat to make closed mine a geological park.After that,someone has realized that Landart could work with this well and then gave out many successful cases atShanxi,Hebei and many other provinces.Fushun west surface mine is now in recession.The writer has done an on-the-spotinvestigation and read many pertinent literatures.Based on predecessors’theory andpractice experience,the writer analyzes the problems Fushun west surface mine wouldface during its industrial tourism developing and give out the solution method.
