Comprehensive Measurement Of Urbanization In The Western Region Of Quality

Urbanization is an important symbol of a country or an area’s social andeconomic development, and a necessary history phase in a society’s progress and onhuman’s way to civilization. As an important part of China’s urbanization, the West’surbanization not only drops far behind China’s average but also behind the West’s ownsocial and economic development. It also restricts China’s whole development andgoes against the socialism harmonious and the comfortably-off society construction.The research sorts out the West’s urbanization evolvement based on its Mobilepopulation, urbanization of cash benefits and non-cash benefits the analysis of therelationship between urbanization levels. Based on people’s freedom of choice from themarketization of urban migration behavior research starting point, through the paneldata model for the effects of the urbanization level of empowerment, and based on theanalysis of the urbanization level comprehensive evaluation method in the westernregion of the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under theurbanization development level. And by the weight worth size to analyze the factorssignificantly affect the level of urbanization, is a focus in the study of this article.First of all, based on a large amount of relevant related literatures, the concept ofurbanization and urbanization quality is defined. Secondly, through the urbanizationquality evaluation index system on the existing research and the understanding ofurbanization quality in this paper, we have established a set of urbanization qualityevaluation index system based on migration. And then, For western12provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government in1997-2011the impact of urbanization development level of factors in the regressionanalysis. Finally, we summarize the main conclusions from empirical analysis, andthen put forward some countermeasures according to the actual situation of eachregion.Based on the level of urbanization in western provinces, autonomous regions andmunicipalities directly under the central government of empirical research, thefollowing main conclusions：(1) Subjective assignment and expert scoring method,compared to determine the weight of space factors, economic factors weights havebigger difference.；（2）Quality of urbanization in western provinces, autonomousregions and municipalities directly under the central government presents unbalanceddevelopment situation.(3)In the factors influencing the level of urbanization, economic development level is the significant factors affecting urbanization development level.Based on the above conclusions, this paper puts forward the followingsuggestions to improve the urbanization quality of West’s：(1) Promote thedevelopment of urban agglomeration, expand regional central city, and radiationboosting functions into full play.(2) to speed up the economic development, optimizethe economic structure, attach importance to the development of non-agriculturalindustries.(3) Strengthen urban space intensive utilization (4) to strengthen theconstruction of urban infrastructure.
