A Theoretical And Empirical Research On Automobile Industrial Cluster In Central Region Of China

Industrial cluster is currently an important form of industrial organization in global economic development. It can reduce the enterprise cost within a cluster, bring the cluster economy scale effect and external effect, thus to promote the technological progress and economic development of the region. Throughout the history of world auto industrial development, auto industry mostly developed through the model of industrial cluster development. Under the background of our country economy and the rapid development of science and technology, the development of the auto industry in central China faces challenges and opportunities. The enterprise and the government attaches great importance to the auto industry. Therefore, the formation mechanism of industry agglomeration in central China on empirical research and guidance of the development of automobile industry cluster areas in central China are of great significance.This article first summarized the domestic and foreign relevant industry cluster research progress and the theory of industrial cluster. Based on the analysis of the connotation of the automobile industry and automobile industry cluster, the paper further summarized the characteristics of automobile industrial cluster, and then analyzed the present situation of automobile industry cluster in central China. Followed by collecting data of the six provinces in central China from2008to2012in China automotive industry yearbook, this part calculated the coefficient of the central region of LQ value, found that the central areas have indeed showed an automobile industrial cluster;The third part tried to explain the formation mechanism of automobile industry cluster in central China in the view of the influence factors and dynamic mechanism. The influence factors of automobile industry cluster include government policies, economies of scale,transportation conditions, human and capital factors etc. Then established the influence factor model of the central parts of automobile industrial agglomeration, By building up the relevant mathematical model, the paper tested various influence factors on the influence degree of the central automobile industry cluster; The empirical results show that, in addition to tax, other factors exists positive correlation to the development of automobile industry cluster. Finally, aiming at the problems existing in the automobile industry cluster in central China, the paper gave corresponding suggestions on the development of automobile industry cluster areas of central China.
