With the sustained development of economy, the hot spring tourism which the main function is leisure and health grew rapidly in our country. As the economic center of upper Yangtze river, it is rich in hot spring tourism resources in Chongqing. The Chongqing municipal government proposed a strategic decision in2005that make Chongqing to be a "Hot spring city ", successively carried out the "Five fang ten springs","Hundreds of hot springs a circle "."two wings more springs" in spring construction, and become one of the country’s only three "China hot spring city" in2011and awarded the china’s first title of "the world’s hot spring city" by the World hot spring and climate Health Federation in2012. With the Chongqing hot spring development warming, the number of hot spring tourism destination increased sharply, study on the spatial structure and its optimization become the premise and guarantee of the healthy development of hot spring tourism in Chongqing City.The paper takes59hot spring tourism destinations that have been developed or in the construction in Chongqing city as the research object, calculated the aggregation dimension, grid dimension and spatial correlation dimension, analysed the space structure of Chongqing hot spring tourism destinations.On this basis, put forward the best spatial development pattern in reasonable construction of Chongqing hot spring tourism destinations.This study formed the following conclusions:(1)The calculation and analysis of aggregation dimension, grid dimension and spatial correlation dimension of space of Chongqing hot spring tourism system show that the spatial structure of Chongqing hot spring tourism destination have fractal characteristics, with self-organization optimized trend.(2)Take the Tongjing hotspring, Tianci hotspring, Ronghui hotspring as the measurement center of Chongqing hot spring tourism’s spatial aggregation and fractal, the aggregation dimension are respectively0.0845,0.2214,0.2754.The results show that as the center of the hot spring tourism system in Chongqing city, the3hot springs have strong attraction to the surrounding hot spring tourism destinations.The small fractal dimension value shows that the attraction of center hot spring tourism to the surrounding hot spring tourism destinations decay slower, the large radiation range reflects the strong influence of center hot spring tourism destinations. Among them, the central role of Tongjing hotspring is strongest, has continued develop potential and is expected to become the center hot spring tourism destination of Chongqing.From the current development trend of spatial distribution, Tianci hotspring and Ronghui hotspring show slightly declining trend than Tongjing hotspring, have less attractive.(3)Grid capacity dimension of Chongqing hot spring tourism system is0.9826, Grid information dimension is1.0144, Show that the spatial distribution of the elements of Chongqing hot spring tourism system is more balanced. But only an equilibrium under the condition of small concentration. In addition to that the information dimension is close to1, indicates that the spatial distribution of Chongqing hot spring tourism destination has characteristics of along the traffic line and water distribution.(4)The crow distance of spatial correlation dimension of Chongqing hot spring tourism system is0.7632between the hot spring tourism destinations and the cow distance measure is0.8109. Indicate that the spatial distribution of Chongqing hot spring tourism is relatively concentrated and the spatial correlation is better, which is good to the building of "Hot spring city ". But the cow crow dimension ratio is1.1015, more than1, Show that the highway traffic network between Chongqing hot spring tourism destination is still not perfect and the accessibility of overall traffic network is not mature enough.(5)Based on the results of fractal analysis, Chongqing can adopt the following measures to optimize the spatial structure of its hot spring tourism destinations: build a high level of hot spring tourism center; prefect the hot spring tourism traffic network and infrastructure; actively develop the exurb spa area.
