With the global economy integration process continues to speed up, urban agglomerations plays a more and more important role in the competitiveness of regional economies, Sustainable development of urban agglomerations has become the only way a national or regional develops. In the current, the development of urban agglomerations has become the country's main development strategies, at the same time, serious environmental pressures appear. Therefore research on the spatial structure of urban agglomerations is of great means.By now, domestic scholars have done more research on Yangtze River Delta Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration, the Pearl River Delta Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration and Beijing and Tianjin Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration than Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration. "Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone" recently adopted in principle by the State Council executive meeting, which shows that country values the development of Chengdu-Chongqing region. Chengdu-Chongqing region's development, largely related to the national economy. This paper from the perspective of spatial structure of urban agglomeration, analyze the spatial distribution of urban agglomeration, the shortcomings and economic links between urban agglomeration strength, the influential factors in the spatial distribution of urban agglomeration, and an optimized spatial structure of the proposed urban agglomeration .This article includes seven aspects:Part one briefly introduces the research background, significance, content and methods, and several other aspects, in order to play a full discussion of the role of commanding the overall situation;Part two describes the group of domestic and foreign scholars of urban spatial structure of research results, and describes the spatial structure of urban agglomeration theories, hoping to make some references about the development of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration;Part three based on Newton's gravitation formula to calculate the interaction between cities and define the range of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration;Part four makes a detailed analysis about the evolution process and status of spatial structure of the Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration, and points out the problems about the current development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration. Uses urban flow strength model to calculate the strength of economic links between cities, and according to the results puts up further development suggestions;Part five analyzes every factor which affects the specific spatial structure of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration in order to find the crux of the right medicine to make Chengdu Spatial Structure of Urban Agglomeration of specific recommendations;Part six researches the fractal case of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration. Due to time constraints, the focus of its correlation dimension has been studied and calculated, and Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration should strengthen transport links;Part seven proposes spatial structure of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration of specific recommendations, according to the problems reflected in the part five and part six. Including: development should be people-oriented; adhere to the scientific concept of development; a clear division of labor to strengthen regional collaboration; optimize the industrial structure to enhances regional competitiveness. Innovation of this paper include:In the use of Newton's gravitational attraction between the formula for the calculation of the city, the bold economic distance proposed another method of calculation,Namely: In considering the straight line distance between cities, based on the increase of transport time and price considerations, the determination of the distance is more realistic.
