| In modern enterprise management, good managers are very scarce resources, they are the mainstays of an enterprise’s development and growth, which can determine the success or failure of an organization. And top managers are the priority among priorities, because they are the navigators and pacesetters, which lead the direction of the enterprise. A good manager which has high quality and strong ability could locate synthetically the target of an organization’s existence and development, and select the appropriate management strategies and methods, which not only make the organization live easy in cut-throat competition, but also grow steadily. Conversely, the organization will decline quickly due to missing opportunities or falling into a wrong path under the increasing competition situation if the top manager doesn’t have high quality and strong ability. So, which manager is outstanding and how to select an outstanding manager has become a difficult problem to the enterprise. Along with the management system getting better, its related theories also get supplemented constantly. In most cases, through massive researches and practices, it indicates that competences play a decisive and foundational part on the selection of managers, and provide the solid base of theory and practice for the selection.This paper introduces the background and the theoretical significance of the enterprise top manager’s main competences, and summarizes related theories of experts and scholars at home and broad. First of all, after carrying on clear definition to the managers, this paper uses the method of sampling top manager recruitments by random to filter out managers’competences, then makes questionnaires with maturity scale and expert opinion. Secondly, the SPSS21.0software is used to analyses the reliability and validity of the redemptory questionnaires, based on the analysis, this paper determines top managers’ competences, then makes and explains the behavior rating scale in related dimension to work out the proportion of each weight. Finally, this paper proposes how to apply related competences to human resources management, hoping offer guide and reference to related researches. |
