With the continuous introduction of new medical reform system and health-relatedpolicies, There is an infinitely bright future ahead of health information marke. In themedical information industry times, patient-centered clinical information system states inrapid promotion period, small and medium-sized hospital takes the initiative inadvancement of clinical information system. It is expected that market scale of clinicalinformation systems will be2.413billion Yuan in2014. The local enterprises M, leader inanesthesia and intensive-care clinical information systems, has to confront challenges andmarket competition of new enterprises from home and abroad. An immediate necessity forM is what kind of competitive strategy should be choosed, so as to maintain a competitiveadvantage in clinical information systems.To perform the duties,this article begins with introduction on research backgroundand significance., and then apply competitive strategy PEST analysis, Porter’s five forcesmodel to describe M’s external environment and internal environment respectively.Basiced on this, Comprehensive analysis of matrix SWOT is utilized to state externalopportunities and threats, internal strengths and weaknesses of M’s. All the aboved effortsis to choose the most suitable differentiation strategy for M. According to thedifferentiation strategy, the author set the target on M s competitive strategic in the shortterm, and puts forward the advertent problem when the strategy is put into practice fromthe four aspects of the product, service, brand image and sales channels.This thesis makes a greater contribution on M to maintain a competitive advantage incomplex competitive environment, defending its leading position. Furthermore, the paperprovides a special reference on competition strategic choice for the other domesticmedical software companies in a certain degree.
