With the rapid development of market demand and the reinforcement of thediversification of customer demand, the service and operate pattern have changedgreatly to the company, especially to the logistics enterprise, as a result the companiesmust provide more mature, more timely and more careful logistics service. There existlots operation and management problems in logistics industry: for example it is anormal phenomenon for the express enterprises to have the “blasting warehouse”, itdoesn’t equality of the operation work, and the sorting operation is slowly, it isvery complex of the operation work and there exists a great waste of labor force. Theproblems we list above give a great threat to the healthy development of thecompanies, so it is urgent for us to find the source of these problems and providereasonable solutions and optimization schemes.We provide a simple introduce of A warehouse center in this paper and make adetailed describe of the function and the operation procedure of sorting anddistribution work, and then make a analysis of the work status according to the fieldinvestigation. After the analysis we can make a conclusion that the problems of Awarehouse center in the sorting and distribution management mainly exist in theworking site and the sorting and distribution working itself, and the problems insorting and distribution working was influenced by working flow mainly, so wecentered our attention on the working site and sorting and distribution working flowto make our improvement project of the sorting and distribution Management work ofAwarehouse center.The problems exist in the working site can be concluded as seven aspects, andwe divided these seven aspects into there classes, they are: the management of operation site, the standard of operation and the planning of working site. Theproblems in the planning of working site occupy4/7in these seven aspects. So westarted our plan from the planning of the working site to resolve the main problem inthe working site. According to the analysis o f the main source of sorting anddistribution working consist in working flow, we make a analysis of the working flowof present to find the unreasonable parts and then formulated a reasonable flow underthe direction of lean thinking.The first step of make plan of the working site is to divide the differentfunctional zone scientifically, then obtain the correlation between the differentfunctional zones, at last we formulated the placement scheme in consideration of theircorrelation. In the course of improve the sorting and distribution working flow weanalysis the current flow and find the unreasonable parts then discovered the source ofthis unreasonable parts and formulated a reasonable flow under the direction of leanthinking.As a result of the allocation plan, the environment of the working site improvedgreatly and the efficiency of work has increased distinctly, it also provides greatconvenience to the workers. Also we saved labor force, avoided the waste ofmanpower and material resources because of the establishment of new working flow.
