Research On Gemba Kaizen And Distribution Optimization In Automotive Component Manufacturing Enterprises

As important means to improve production efficiency and reduce production costs, gemba kaizen and distribution optimization have been widely used in all types of enterprises. On the basis of concluding on the definition of gemba kaizen and distribution optimization and their corresponding methods, this paper by researching the automotive component manufacturing enterprises, put methods of gemba kaizen and distribution optimization forward aimed at this type. First of all, the paper expatiate the basic methods of work measurement and standard time measurement methods based on the stopwatch. Second, making work measurement and balance analyses on product process of every product in an automotive component manufacturing enterprise, and putting forward corresponding improvements and projects aimed at "bottleneck" of every product processes.Based on the upward study, a partial optimum adjustment to the layout of every work cell has been made. Finally, from an overall point of view, combined with layout optimization methods based on the simulation, a simulation model to optimize product layout based on the simulation was built, and by this means to optimize the production systems as a whole.
