In this paper, taking JD Company’s distribution center for the study, using EIQ to analyze and optimize the sorting operations management, while use Flexsim to do the distribution center simulation modeling and results analysis, Optimize the facilities and equipment configuration of the sorting area.By introducing the background, significance, research status and research ideas, summary ideas and methods of distribution center functional area, and by introducing the distribution center of the JD processes, functional areas, operational capability of the analysis to identify the problem of the distribution center of the JD. Find the optimum focus, principles and objectives. About the sorting operation management problem of JD company distribution center, by using EIQ analysis method on the orders of data, Through the analysis finally forward cargo space management, picking style management, picking path management and replenishment management four aspects optimization suggestion. About the sorting operation capacity problem, based on the analysis of sorting distinguish inspection ability in third chapter, Application of Flexsim simulation software for distribution center sorting zone modeling and simulation, through the analysis of simulation results, finally forward optimization program of facilities and equipment configuration.The innovation of this paper is on the basis of the analysis by JD distribution center sorting area research, use EIQ analysis and Flexsim Simulation modeling two methods to optimize the sorting operations management and operational capacity of the distribution center sorting area. Ultimately provide solutions to practical problems of the distribution center sorting area of JD.
