With the development of technology and times, Internet of Things (IOT) technology has been widely applied in many enterprises. At present, the application of ITO technology has not been limited within enterprises, but expanded to the supply chain. The downstream enterprises of the supply chain can obtain information from the upstream enterprises via the information sharing platform. IOT enables the real-time transmission of supplier information onto the sharing platform, on which the demanding enterprises may conduct real-time monitoring of the suppliers.This paper summarizes the distinct features of the supplier selection and evaluation in the IOT environment. It is considered in this paper that under such circumstance the access to information is more convenient, the supplier selection is of more instantaneity, the responding ability to unexpected situations is enhanced, and that a strategic corporative partnership is formed between supplying and demanding companies. In order to adapt to the characteristics of IOT environment, the paper has established five first-level, fourteen second-level and twenty-two third-level evaluation indexes. Flexibility indexes such as production flexibility, time flexibility and product flexibility are added into consideration besides traditional indexes. Information degree such as capital ratio of IOT technology building investment and IOT technology and related staff ratios are considered. Compatibilities of strategic cooperation including strategic objectives and compatibilities of information system and corporate culture are also appended. The evaluation indexes for the future of an enterprise such as the development environment and development potential are established. The paper employs documentary analysis, questionnaire, business research, expert scoring, combined quantification and qualification and other methods to establish evaluation index system of supplier selection and provides detailed description. Meanwhile it also establishes the evaluation model for supplier selection based on time changes by binding analytic hierarchy processes and prediction methods. Basic steps of the model establishment are roughly as follows:to determine the time cycle of supplier evaluation, to use analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the earlier stage performance of the supplier, to calculate the prediction equation on the basis of the earlier stage comparison for the matrix changing trends, to calculate the predicted value with the prediction equation, in order to compute the supplier performance as well as to rank the general level of the compared matrix passing the consistency check, and to select the optimized supplier.The study result of the paper is verified by the real case of Jiangsu Tong Plastic Technology Group Co., Ltd., solving the practical problems of supplier selection and evaluation in the IOT environment. Through analyzing the company profile and procurement status, the paper has collected company-related data and selected the optimal supplier with calculation. The index system and model established in this paper effectively reflects the characteristics the IOT, evaluates the suppliers dynamically and objectively, and implements real-time evaluation of the supplier performance trends.
