With the development of all kinds of new technologies, the environment of market has become more complex than before, more intense competitions, and more and more companies feel that they have been unable to adapt to the rapidly changing competitive market. In order to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage and ensure business performance, companies have been looking for new methods. In the current competitive environment, the traditional core competence is no longer can provide a sustained long-term absolute competitiveness, and even cause the core rigidity of the company. Therefore, for companies on how to obtain and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, dynamic capabilities theory has been more and more scholars are concerned. Dynamic capabilities are companies achieve sustained source of competitive advantage, and promote improved business performance.In our country, most of our businesses are middle and small-sized enterprises, they have very important role to their country’s economy. However, middle and small-sized enterprises are local in a competitive environment, and there is no enough to compete with large enterprises economic base and technical research strength. Therefore, middle and small-sized enterprises should find their dynamic capabilities, to make up for their deficiencies and ensure sustainable competitive advantage. This is a problem to be solved.The author of this article based on enterprise resource theory, and through the previous studies of dynamic capabilities from Teece and others, the analysis of the specificity and the essential characteristics of the enterprise, based on modeling of dynamic capabilities before scholars on the deconstruction of the dynamic capabilities of middle and small-sized enterprises for the enterprise market potential, environmental insight, transformation and innovation ability, the ability to organize flexible, six dimensions of strategic isolation capabilities and enterprise learning ability, the ability to build a new dynamic model. Through send questionnaire to more than two hundred employees of many Beijing middle and small-sized enterprises, profitability and sustainability from two aspects over several dimensions affecting the performance of middle and small-sized enterprises.
