Dynamic Capabilities It Capabilities Of The Mechanism Of Sustained Competitive Advantage

Although the relationship between IT capability and sustainable competitive advantage has been verified, but the forming mechanism of sustainable competitive advantage through IT capability has been lack of reasonable explanation, because dynamic capability theory can reasonably explain the forming mechanism of sustainable competitive advantage in dynamic environment ,therefore, this paper explore the relationship between IT capability and sustainable competitive advantage from the perspective of dynamic capability theory.Dynamic capability is the ability that enterprise constantly update it's knowledge to fit the rapidly changing environment through specific learning (knowledge) activities model. the essence of dynamic capability is a series of mechanism which can guarantee the dynamic updating of knowledge in the enterprise, including strategic updating mechanism, strategic matching mechanisms and knowledge innovation mechanism.IT capability is the ability that enterprise effectively use it's IT resources so as to make them full complement with other resources and capabilities of enterprise, so that the IT resources can support the day-to -day operation and rapid change of enterprise in the light of environmental change, then enterprise can get sustainable competitive advantage.Building IT capability is a tangible and effective way of promoting the dynamic capability of enterprise, the reason why IT capability can bring sustainable competitive advantage is that enterprise can promote it's dynamic capability through the building of IT capability. IT capability can improve the operating efficiency of strategic updating mechanism, strategic matching mechanism and knowledge innovation mechanism through the effective deploying and application of IT resources, enterprises can more rapidly and effectively change its' strategies in accordance with changes of the environment, found knowledge gap, and, constantly filled the knowledge gap through knowledge innovation, the filling of knowledge gap will lead to the evolution of capability, technology and products because of the relationship among knowledge, core capability, core technology and products, so that enterprises can meet customer demand more rapidly and effectively, constantly create new competitive advantage, eventually get sustainable competitive advantage.
