An Innovative Study On The Model Of Agriculture Product Circulation Channel In China

Along with the rapid development of society and economy, as well as the constantprogress of information technology, the need for fresh agriculture products hastremendously changed. And the traditional circulation channels of agricultural productscannot feed the diversified modern need. Both the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry ofAgriculture have paid high attention to improving the efficiency of agriculture products’circulation. It is these problems that cause the writer’s attention. Therefore, this thesispresents an overall analysis of the agricultural products’ circulation link based on formerstudies home and abroad. The writer firstly introduces the current status of agriculturalproducts distribution channels and its related problems. Then based on the already existed“agriculture base&supermarket” circulation model, the writer puts forward a new futurefresh agricultural products circulation channel which is “farmer cooperatives–supermarket-consumer” model. The essay explains this new model’s possibility applyingthe MSCP theory in industrial economics, and continues to prove it with additionalempirical evidence. This essay finally comes to the following conclusions:1. Compared with other developed countries, the circulation channels of our country’sagricultural products are still backward. There exist a lot of problems such as diversifiedchannels, overlong circulation link, and great loss during the circulation, and backwardlogistics and information technology. All these problems call for immediate improvement.2. The current situation of coexistence of traditional model and “agriculture base&supermarket” model will last for a long period for the time being and in the near future.However, in pace with living standard on the rise, the “agriculture base&supermarket”model and changing the farm product market into supermarket will become the mainstream.3. Empirical existence study indicates the “farmer cooperatives–supermarket-consumer” model will bring more benefit to farmers, supermarket as well as consumers.And the consumers will gain the greatest benefit. Also this new model can improve theefficiency of agricultural products circulation. It is a model that fit our future economydevelopment.
