The survey and design enterprises in today’s China are facing unprecedentedcompetition and more complex external environment. After China joined the WTO, manyforeign design companies have also joined the Chinese market, The fierce competitionpattern is bound to arouse the domestic design change in the enterprise operation mode andmanagement mode. Project management is the international advanced management mode,the company is designed to implement the project management needs of enterprisedevelopment, but also with the international standards.In this paper, the diagnostic object for project management of M design company. Firstof all, the theoretical analysis through project management to establish projectmanagement model suitable M’s diagnosis, and the method of theoretical interpretation andanalysis, industry best practices, combined with the company’s project managementactually determine the diagnostic criteria; And then in the identified diagnosis modelframework, surrounding the project organization structure mode, project progressmanagement, project quality management, project cost management and projectperformance evaluation of the main content of project management the implementation ofdiagnosis scheme, the use of diagnosis method, the contrast of diagnostic criteria, sufficientinvestigation about the present situation of the diagnostic object, the research and analysis,description or summarizes the main problems of diagnostic object, and put forwardimprovement suggestions or comments.Through diagnosis, this paper found that in the main process of project management, Mdesign company has relatively obvious shortcomings.. To adapt to the new situation thatwill face the next stage of development, M design company should adopt a matrix projectmanagement model to achieve flat management. Company leaders should directly manageproject manager, and formulate the corresponding project management system. Byintroducing the work coefficient, the project schedule is to make the internal schedule,while advanced work management platform is built, so that the company’s managementand project managers to accurately control the implementation of the project. Reward andpunishment internal quality assessment criteria will be established, quality and businessperformance assessment system is linked to such performance index increases, whilereducing the risk of problems caused by mass. By increasing the operating cost method ofaccounting methods, business is made up of various projects to accurately calculate thecost of each project in order to profit and loss situation is accurately accounted for. Byregulating the staff responsibilities, to implement the registration salary, making aneffective performance appraisal system is established, the real new system-"Pay postvalue、pay personal ability、 pay performance contribution." By building an advancedinformation platform, reducing the manual duplication, standardize management processes.Through a more comprehensive overall planning, project management can be well analyzed and forecast for management to provide better decision support.
