In recent years, the energy-saving lighting industry bears the brunt of the energy-saving and emission-reducing of green environmental protection industry. It has been developing rapidly and is becoming one of the main forces of the global scientific and technological innovation and product upgrading. Due to the lack of energy-saving lighting industry standards, regulations of long-term norms, big confusion in the intellectual property rights, market price and admittance etc.,it is relatively easier to enter this industry but difficult to survive, enlarge and strengthen the company.This paper attempts to analysis the survival and the development process of new founded enterprise through the establishment of its business model, thus tries to demonstrate the importance of establishment and evolution of business model during the development process of new founded enterprise. Based on the business model theory of Harvard University by comparison, this thesis conducts the research to the business model of new founded company in the lighting industry including detailed analysis of source of profit, cost structure, investment volume and critical success factors, combining with on-the-spot investigation of Xiamen Q lighting company. From the point of above analysis, this thesis examines how Xiamen Q lighting company enter the lighting industry, achieve profitability by resource sharing, and build competitive business model through the value chain positioning.This thesis summarizes experience and short comings of the Xiamen Q lighting company in manufacturing management activity, put forward the improvement opinion, and provide reference to domestic lighting enterprises for building business model.
