At the age of Knowledge economy, innovation is the motive of corporate survival and development and an important way to maintain and improve corporate core competitiveness. With the internet information technology and global market economy developing rapidly, competition among firms is becoming more and more fierce. Only constant innovation can the firms adapt to changes of market economy environment. Now individuality and information globalization is highly demanded, For firms, faced with growing complicated operation environment and competition method, Building and improving corporate business pattern is more important than purely pursuing innovation of technology and products. Management Gurus, Peter Drucker once said: For the moment, Competition among firms is not competition among products but competition among business patterns." Therefore, Analyzing innovation of business patterns will have deep effect on market environment where firms survive and improving corporate competition advantages.At the end of20th Century, internet bubble burst made people realize that innovation and design of good business pattern is the key to firm’s success. Since then innovation on business pattern expanded from traditional IT industry to more industrial areas. It was not only used by entrepreneurs, lawyers and risk investors, but also studied deeply by academic analysts. But how can we design a good innovative business pattern? First of all, we need to make clear which inner and outer factors promote or restrain firms when they are building and improving business patterns. How they affect? Analyzing inner and outer factors of business pattern innovation is the fundamental of improving efficiency of innovation.Based on the questions above, this paper refers to related documents. The summary discovers that studies of factors affecting innovation mainly concentrate on layer of technology innovation and service innovation. While studies of innovation of business pattern mainly concentrate renew combinations of business pattern elements. There is no system study of factors of business pattern innovation. Therefore this paper adopts method of mixed study, namely, a theory frame will be concluded after qualitative study. And then previous studies will be verified and supplied through quantitative studies.As for qualitative study part, this paper adopts the method of combining documents arrangement and analysis of business cases. Through document study of business pattern, business pattern innovation and corporate competition advantage, definition of essence and composition elements of business pattern and business pattern innovation, this paper makes a summary about related factors of business pattern innovation motive in the existing study. On that basis, this paper chooses household electric appliances as study objects and refers to mature conclusion about innovation factors and business pattern innovation motive. Meanwhile this paper combines open questionnaire investigation and analysis of practice case on firms in household electric appliances industry. So this paper draws initially a conclusion on inner and outer factors affecting business pattern innovation among household electric appliances industry: capital market, technological progress, market demand, industry environment, ability of entrepreneurs and organization and study ability. On the basis of analyzing inner structure of business pattern innovation, this paper puts forward business pattern innovation will promote corporate competition advantage.In order to further verify how these factors affect innovation, this paper chooses Suning appliance company, Gome appliance company, five-star appliance company among household electric chain industry as investigation sample. On the basis that efficiency of data collected from questionnaire is ensured, SPSS19.0and AMOS19.0are used to make supplement and verification. The study results show that capital market support, technological progress, market demand, policy support and moderate competition, entrepreneur ability have organization and study ability have positive impact on business pattern innovation. Business pattern innovation has positive impact on improving corporate competition advantage.Finally, on the basis of research conclusion in this paper, household appliances chain industry as example, this paper puts forward below advice and suggestions for firms on how to use business pattern innovation to transform and upgrade combining inner and outer factors drafted in this paper: first, utilize efficiently capital operation, pursue moderate scale benefits, Second, Focus on customer demand, define exactly value trend. Thirdly, Use technology to achieve coordinate development of on-line and off-line trade. Fourth, enhance corporate strength, improve firms’ innovation ability. Finally, this paper puts forward short-comings of this paper and expectation on future research.
