Nowadays, farmers have shown new characteristics that are different from our common belief. This fact is agreed by both ordinary people and intellects. The awareness of self-identification and the enhancement of civil rights and responsibilities make the farmers improve themselves, the rural areas as well as agriculture.This essay shows that farmers have been able to become successfully modernized during the transformation of the village. Through cooperation, they make connections among all the villagers, enabling them face bravely against the urbanization. Beginning with the family-based production process, they value the importance of being independent. They understand that they should be responsible for themselves and nobody should make decisions for them instead of themselves. Open-mindedness is their common thinking and through the exchange and communication, they have become willing to participate and compete. The fresh and positive cultural factors’ influence has made the farmers realize the significance of innovation and pioneering spirit. In the meantime, they still hold the characteristics of hardworking and being solid. The modernization of farmers promotes the construction of villages go smoothly as well as brings hopeful prospects for our future.
