The Study About Agrictural Modernization Affecting The Farmers' Income Increase

In recent years, our country pay more and more attention to agricultural modernization. The Central Rural Working Conference in 2014 pointed out that agricultural modernization is the foundation and support of national modernization and emphasized it is still the shortcoming of the "four modernizations”. It shows that our country attaches great importance to the agricultural modernization and also reflects its situation is relatively backward. In the process of deepening the rural economic system reform, promoting agricultural modernization is still the effective way to increase the farmers' income. Therefore, the study which is about agricultural modernization affecting farmers' income is of theoretical and practical significance to deepen the rural construction and develop economy and society sustainably and healthily.Firstly, this paper reviews the relevant literature home and abroad about agricultural modernization and its effect of increasing farmers' income. And it focuses on studying the influence mechanism of agricultural modernization on increasing farmers' income, from some main angles including agricultural science and technology innovation, industrialization, the national agricultural security system, agricultural sustainable development and synchronously harmonious development of the "four modernizations”. This theoretic mechanism lay a theoretical foundation for the following empirical study. At the same time, it analyses some existing problems of agricultural modernization at present and the present situation of rural residents' income.And then, it refers to a study in 2012 from a research team, China's agricultural modernization evaluation index system, to select seven representative indicators. It uses SPSS19.0to conduct the principal component analysis about five indexes which are strong related. On this basis, it conducts the empirical analysis about the influence of agricultural modernization on farmers' income. Regression results show that the input and output level of agricultural modernization and the agricultural sustainable development level significantly increase the farmers' income, and the fiscal agriculture expenditure's effect is not ideal.Finally, this paper puts forward some policy suggestions about developing agricultural modernization to ensure a steady increase of farmers' income according to some problems about agricultural modernization at present. The related policy suggestions is proposed to provide reference for advancing agricultural modernization in our country.
