Research On Evaluation And Countermeasures Of Sustainable Development Of Shanxi Coal Industry

Shanxi’s coal resource prossesses excellent natural talents. Relying on theabundant coal resource, the growth of economic is having much rapid development.And Shanxi has been the mainly coal mine province in China. Coal industry plays avital role in Shanxi Province compared with traditional industry. After a long periodof construction, Shanxi’s coal industry has made huge contribution for the nationaleconomic construction. However, coal resource is a kind of non-renewable resources,find the way to sustainable use of coal resources is an important task and it hasstrategic importance. The paper evaluate the sustainable level of Shanxi’s coalindustry respectively from development and coordination perspective based on thesustainable development theory and the fuzzy comprehensive appraisal theory, byanalyzing the present status of coal industry in Shanxi.According to analysis of the present conditions of Shanxi’s coal industry, thispaper constitute an evaluation indexes system to evaluate the level of sustainabledevelopment by using the fuzzy comprehensive appraisal theory. Based on that, thepaper proposes some corresponding policy recommendations. From the evaluatedresults, the sustainable development of coal industry in Shanxi province has a certaincapacity, and according to the analysis, environment and resource efficiency is themain negative factors affecting the sustainable ability. The government andenterprises must change the mode of "extensive" mining, pay attention toenvironmental problems bring by coal exploiting. In this paper, the author try to findsustainable path to improve the utilization efficiency of coal resource to promote thesustainable development of coal industry in Shanxi under the perspective oftransformation of resource-based economy development.
