In corporate management, both entrepreneurs and scholars normally focus their attention on research of corporate strategy; Their utmost goal is to improve corporate performance. Although corporate strategy influences performance, it doesn’t mean that corporate performance will surely improve once correct corporate strategy is in place, as it is affected by various internal and external factors. Among them, strategy execution capacity is an important factor. Research has proved that organizational learning influences corporate strategy execution capacity. Organizational learning helps enterprise gain competitive advantage continuously. Up to now, not much study was made on this subject. The relationship between organizational learning, strategy execution capacity and corporate performance isn’t probed into much, to say nothing in a hotel situation.Based on a regular case study on a hotel located in Yichang, this article deals with the following main aspects:a. How organizational learning influence hotel strategy execution capacity? b. How strategy execution capacity influence hotel performance? c. How organizational learning influence hotel performance? In order to study these aspects, the connotation of organizational learning, factors of strategy execution capacity, as well as dimensionality of hotel performance were defined based on reference of large amount of literature. Concept model was established between organizational learning, strategy execution capacity and hotel performance through literature summarization and content analysis. Then the concept model was modified by experimental case study. After that, normative case study and theoretical discussion was made to the following conclusions:a. The influence of organizational learning to hotel strategy execution capacity is quite prominent. Among them, organizational learning is quite influential to strategy control capacity; it’s influential to strategy common view, it’s less influential to strategy coordination capacity. At the same time, differences exist between the influences of the three measurement dimensions of organizational learning to strategy execution capacity.b. The influence of strategy execution capacity to hotel performance is prominent. Among them, strategy control capacity is quite influential to hotel performance; Strategy-coordination capacity is influential to hotel performance; The influence of strategy common view capacity to hotel performance is not apparent. At the same time, differences exist between the influences of the four measurement dimensions of hotel performance by strategy execution capacity,c. The influence of organizational learning to hotel performance is prominent. Among them, organizational learning is quite influential to hotel customer satisfaction; it is influential to hotel service standardization. However, its influence to hotel turnover as well as staff satisfaction is not apparent. At the same time, differences exist between the influences of the three measurement dimensions of organizational learning to hotel performance.With the above conclusion, this article made corresponding suggestions, limitation and expectation was also given to this study.
