Since China’s reform and opening up to the outside world, the economy of China has grown up rapidly, the people’s income and living standard have been improved greatly. With the rapid development of economy, the tendency of China’s urban and rural income difference kept being enlarged is increasingly apparent, and a series of social problems will be brought if this tendency can’t be effectively curbed. It is a prominent problem in the field of income distribution and economic development that the income difference between urbanite and peasant is expanding in our country, which will seriously affect the development of the national economy and the stabilization of the society.Urbanization is great project of the21st century implemented by our nation. As a national policy, the process of urbanization is well responded and actively promoted by all regions."Three Rural Issues" is the focus of China’s national development since the reform. From2003when General Secretary Hu signed the profile about how to increase farmer’s income,which advice by CPC Central Committee and State Council to2013when CPC Central Committee and State Council’s advice about accelerating the development of modern agriculture and further enhance the vitality of rural development. Central government has issued10No.l Document that focus on agriculture. To accelerate the process of urbanization, the overall development of the rural economy, increasing the income of farmers, narrow the gap between urban and rural areas, to balance urban and rural development, is a major task in the new period of building a well-off society. To accomplish this task, the most critical is in country and increase farmer income. So we cannot ignore the relationship between the development level of urbanization and the income of the farmers.In this paper, the urbanization development level of Chongqing and its relationship with the income of farmers is the object of study. Selected five indicators as the first level index, which include economic development, social development, population, people’s lives and infrastructure construction. The proportion between two and three industrial, urban and rural disposable income ratio, per capita output, the health and technical owned of every million people, cooperative medical coverage, number of schools owned of every million people, urbanization rate, non-agricultural industry practitioners, rural per capita net income, Angel coefficient, per capita electricity consumption per year, the highway density per capita and investment in fixed assets are the second level index. Using the principal component analysis to measure the standard the urbanization development level of Chongqing. Using charts and forms to analyzing the current situation and the differences between the urbanization of Chongqing. At the same time the relations between income structure changes were discussed through theory and example analysis. The results show that, Chongqing has been at a higher stage of development of urbanization, but there is a significant difference between areas. In farmer s’income, wage and household business accounted for relatively large. There are positive correlation between the increase of farmer s’income and the first level index. And economic development, population, infrastructure construction, social development, people’s lives effect the urbanization development level in turn.
