Study On Comparison Between Sihanouk Ville Autonomous Port (SAP) And Tianjin Port

As globalization develops,Cambodian economic benefits greatly.For this reason,both export volume and import volume of Cambodia keeps an increasing growth.As is known,the port is one of the most important passages in international trade.So is Cambodian.Sihanoukville Autonomous Port(SAP)has the greatest capacity in Cambodia and correspondingly is critical to Cambodian trade.However,as Sihanoukville Autonomous Port has long history and Cambodian economics started late,SAP still have large progress to make to adapt itself to the globalization.As the equivalent economic status of Tianjin port to China,this paper intends to refer to Tianjin Port to analyze Sihanoukville Autonomous Port,to find some referential and practical suggestion.This paper mainly compares Sihanoukville Autonomous Port and Tianjin Port in port infrastructure,port development and port efficiency.The Cobb Douglas Stochastic Frontier model is used to analyze the port efficiency.Through this comparison,problems of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port are pointed out and corresponding measures are put forward in the conclusion.
