With the development of economy, the sale of raw & fresh produce in farmer marketwill gradually turn to supermarket. Raw & fresh produce supermarkets will offer a neat andconvenient shopping environment, where people buy at eases and eat with trusts. But theprogress of transforming from farmer market to supermarket isn’t a smooth way. Highoperating cost, low freshness and lacking variety of commodity is the main reason thatsupermarket can’t defeat farmer market.To eliminate the subsisting and development bottleneck of raw & fresh producesupermarket, supply chain management is the key. By establishing processing anddistribution center, and integrating all kinds of resources of the supply chain effectively, thegoal of "decreasing cost, increasing profit, expanding variety, adding value" to raw & freshproduce supermarket can be achieved.However, all sorts of difficulties exist in the practice of operating raw & fresh produceprocessing and distribution center. To the main problems existing in Nonghua Raw & FreshProduce Processing and Distribution Center at present, after abundant investigation,analysis and study, this thesis borrows lessons from overseas successful operation of raw &fresh produce processing and distribution center, with experts’ consultations anddiscussions, addresses feasible measures and suggestions including improving insidefunctions setup, designing reasonable operating process, and then establishing efficientpurchasing channel, lowering distribution cost, controlling freshness loss, increasingdistribution speed, etc. This thesis hopes that raw & fresh produce processing anddistribution center will gain more economic benefit while brings positive benefit to thesociety, and will walk on a scientific and sustainable development way that meets the rulesof market economy.
