Currently, the automation and intelligence of forging hydraulic equipment is rapidlyrising due to its importance in manufacturing industry. Although this change can help theequipment to meet product demand, equipment failure problems have become increasinglyobvious. Since the continuous thermal processing during forging, once the machine isshutdown due to equipment failures, there will result in a significant loss to enterpriseproduction. Moreover, users can not handle the trouble immediately due to the hightechnology integration in forging hydraulic equipment. The maintenance engineers arerequired to go to the location of failure, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive.With the popularity of internet, remote monitoring and diagnosis technology provides anew way to solve the failures problem in forging hydraulic equipment.In this paper,20MN fast forging hydraulic press is taken as an example to buildweb-based remote monitoring and diagnosis system for forging hydraulic equipment. Theaim of our work is to help users quickly resolve equipment failures and improveequipment utilization. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the structure and control system of forging hydraulic press is analyzed, andthe common failures in20MN fast forging hydraulic press are collected. Based on this, thefunction and performance requirements of web-based remote monitoring and diagnosissystem for forging hydraulic Press are proposed.Secondly, according to the analysis and comparison on mainstream system mode anddevelopment platform, the browser/server (B/S) mode and.NET platform are determined.The overall design of system is proposed, and the architecture and function modules of thesystem are introduced in detail as well. Then, the detailed design of system is carried outfrom database and system functions two aspects. This section describes the specific designof the database, and emphatically analyses user management module, data managementmodule and monitoring and diagnosis module.Last, the realization of main functions is verified, and the related technologies usingin achieving such functions are discussed as well. The implementation process ofmonitoring and diagnosis capabilities is emphatically expounded, and a specific failureinstance is given to illustrate it.
