Factory power distribution system means that, first lower the input voltage of thepower system, and then distribute the power to every equipment which located in theworkshop of the factory, to make sure the equipment could work well in theproduction process. Normally the power distribution system includes the mainsubstation, MV power distribution system, LV power distribution system, theequipment etc. It should be considered the type of load, the amount of load, thelocation of load when design the power distribution system, to make sure the powercould be distribute safety, reliable and economical.The power distribution system design of new dry process cement plant is thetypical design simple. With Yili Tasi cement plant for example which located inXinjiang province, the paper introduce the power distribution system design in severalimportant parts, such as load calculation, reactive power compensation, harmoniccontrol, short-circuit current calculate; relay protection and how to choose theelectrical equipment (especially for the transformer) and cables. In particular theresearch of the harmonic control, get the better result in the actual project. Regardingthe importance of the DCS, brief introduction of DCS also included in this paper.
