The means of measurement of electricity of coal production are not a perfect in China, and a lot of coal mines are still using the traditional mechanical or electronic type, there are specialized person to copy each line and the main substation electric energy data everyday by according to the unified format, especially in the underground, statistics and analysis of management of electric energy is lagging behind and tedious, which just is imperative problem remained to be solved in the production of coal mine safety and management. This research developed a set of the energy management system of electric equipment of underground in view of these situations, and the system can realize the real-time electrical monitoring and analysis of electricity consumption curve and analysis fault through the alarm data window. The system can help coal consumption calculation and quota management and provide plan of the coal mine power consumption. The staff can distribute and dispatch energy resources according to the power curve of the system.Firstly, this paper introduces the domestic and foreign research situation of energy management system and presents the purpose and significance of the topic and expounds the effect of energy system. According to the feature of energy management system for electric equipment of coal mine, this paper introduces the system innovation and presents the structure frame of the system and establish the network communication system structure, and this paper introduces the hardware design of the system. This paper combines with the mine multi function watt hour meter(with RS-485 communication interface) research according to the investigation on the electricity metering equipment of coal mine and introduces the structure and measuring parameters of mine multi function watt hour meter, including interface of mine multi function watt hour meter communication. This thesis introduces the communication protocol of mine multi function watt hour meter in detail, the design method of the device driver in MCGS configuration software is given by the paper. The configuration software of the upper computer and lower computer is designed by MCGS configuration software in this paper. This paper constructed a BP neural network model of forecasting the electricity to predict and simulate.
