Numerical control technology is the foundation of mechanical processing automation. In modern manufacture industry,CNC machine tools play an important role, its high or low level has a relationship with national strategic status and reflects the level of comprehensive strength. It needs the aid of numerical control technology to solve the processing on the complex surface in manufacturing industry of the concrete precast panel. This paper studies the numerical control transformation of traditional Double Housing Planer.According to the idea of an open architecture CNC sys tem and PC bus, a set of numerical control system has been developed with Windows XP and C,which can meet some functions in the process, such as load program, display graphic, suspend and continue process. The planing machine is retained the original drive system, removed the vertical and horizontal structure and install ed new feed structure. The stepp motors control feeding of the X and Z direction. An electromagnetic sensor installed on the body of planer is used to detect the position of the table and to generate the interrupt signal, which solves the problem of real-time control.Interpolation is an important part of CNC system and its algorithm directly decides the quality of CNC system performance. This paper used the differential interpolation which has the ability of making interpolation to straight line and arc,and other complex cures, such as hyperbola and parabola linear. This methed reduces computation and time, but improves the accuracy. Finally, this paper summarizes the used work, and points out a few problems which will continue to be done in future research.
