Steel industry is the basis of the national economy, and it is also the lifeblood of our country. The quality of seamless steel tube is related to national defense, manufacturing, and the healthy development of social economy, in particular. Continuous tube rolling mill is the core equipment of the seamless pipe manufacturing. High failure probability, great many hazards, as well as complex factors influencing hazards during the manufacturing process, all these seriously affected the product quality and reduced working efficiency of continuous tube mill.Thus, adopting the fuzzy mathematics method to the rolling mill hazards analysis, combined with the fault tree analysis and the system safety assessment, having an important significance to improve the security of the system and product quality.Aimed at the safety issues ofcontinuous tube rolling mill, the main work includes the following:(1)After a review of the existing literature, this study analyzed the advances of continuous tube rolling mill safety assessment and fuzzy mathematics theory both home and abroad, thus obtained the research content and ideas of this thesis.(2) This thesis analyzed the composition and operating principle of continuous tube mill. And combinedits actual situation with the basic theory of hazard identification, made use of preliminary hazard analysis, we identified the hazards of continuous tube rolling mill and related equipment, assessed and determined the probability and degree of accidents that lead by these hazards, provided technologies and measures to control hazards.(3) Site visiting and document reading of enterprise accident were conducted, based on the fuzzy mathematics theory and fault tree analysis, this thesischosen hydraulic gap control system as research object, established fault tree of continuous tube rolling mill servo system failure. During the analysis offault tree, we obtain the structure importance of basic events. Made use of combining fuzzy mathematics theory expert scoring method, this paper discussed the method that how we get fuzzy probability value.(4) On the base of abovementioned research, we combined AHP with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and CMM to conduct a complex assessment of the safety management of continuous tube rolling mill. This method is based on the existing safety standardized evaluation criteria; we got the fuzzy membership by questionnaire. At last, this thesis put forward some related suggestion and measure aimed at improving the safety management level.
