Substation monitoring system is an integral part of the power automation control system.The measurement and monitoring of the electric power substation equipment have important function and significance on the transformer substation monitoring of power equipment. It is the essential part in petrochemical industry control system and plays the significant role in saving electrity and trooubleshooting aspects of the industry.This thesis mainly studied the monitoring technology of substation and described the design of monitoring system for the unit low-voltage substation of refinery. The main work is as follows:The composition of monitoring system for the unit low-voltage substation is described. For the data acquisition layer, communication management layer and monitoring layer of the monitoring system, the relating network communication technology and configuration monitoring software is studied, and the design scheme of three network layer for the substation monitoring system is described.On the basis of equipment operation monitoring requirements for each low-voltage substation of refinery, for the comprehensive protection device(feeder integrated protection device, motor comprehensive protection device, the line integrated protection device), communication device(Modbus network communication device, Process Field Bus(Profibus)network communication device, Ethernet communication device), and the controller, the equipment selection are described, the characteristics and performance for each device are briefly introduced, and their functions in the system are described.The networking and communication configuration of substation monitoring system was acomplished. The refinery unit substation six as an example, the monitoring system network structure is given, which includes Modbus protocol, Profibus protocol and the protocol of Ethernet and uses dual network communication technology. Network system uses schneider product, the communication management machine of Modbus network is configured with Irap software and Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) device of Profibus network is completed with Unity Pro XL software. Through the configuration program, various electrical parameters and the volume switchs of the intelligent integrated protection device are read. the transformation method between Profibus network and Ethernet network in monitoring system of low-voltage substation is given, the whole substation network communication is realized.The design of configuration monitoring software for the monitoring system of substation was acomplished, including the design of main interface, design of a system diagram of interface, design of Electricity run the report interface, design of historical data display interface, design of historical event recording interface. All are achieved with Schneider StruxureWare Power_Monitoring configuration software. Described the database connection technology of the substation monitoring system, and completed the database association with the host configuration software.The commissioning of a refinery multiple low-voltage substations was acomplished. Through the three aspects of Modbus communication, Profibus communication and monitoring software to complete the site commissioning. the problems encountered with the monitoring network debugging are analyzed, and the concrete treatment method is given.
