Offshore oil three-phase separator for oil/gas/water is a facility in a certain way (such as gravity sedimentation, centrifugation, packing separation), using different nature among the oil, gas and water, to achieve a certain degree of separation. Then, oil and gas are transported to terminal or sold through the pump or compressor, produced water is drain or injection after further treatment. Due to the special environmental conditions of offshore platform and space of platform, the need for selection of the separator, and determine a set of parameters, the research and design of offshore platform separator meet process requirements and on-site installation requirements.Combined with the present situation of research on domestic and foreign three-phase separator for oil/gas/water, according to the actual parameters of oil in Nanhai oilfield and the limitation of the layout on the platforms, the horizontal separator by gravity separation method is used. Through calculation, a series of important parameters is assured, and determine the final size. According to the calculation, the separator size is4000mm (ID)*16000mm (T/T), which can meet the production condition of liquid phase residence time and gas velocity of allowance requirements, and can be adjusted to meet the requirements of large scope of flow rate.Pressure vessel is calculated through SW6process equipment calculation software, the main contents include internal pressure cylinder, left head and the right head, saddle, opening reinforcement calculation and checking, the body and internal parts of pressure vessel is designed according to the calculation results and the process design results, meeting the requirements of the sea transportation, installation, central control.
