As the fundamental and strategic industry, agriculture plays a vital role on the stability and prosperity of the society. From 1980s, the agriculture has been comprehensively improving by innovative system and technologies. While the extensive agriculture development leads to the environmental pollution and the waste of resources, which protrudes the confliction between agriculture development and environmental protection. The writer conducts an empirical research from the following to search for the solutions to adjust the above situation.Statistically, the driven factors of the pollution and the mode of protection are investigated by researching the agriculture pollution in Shandong province through the combination of agricultural production, economy development and environmental protection, which provides theoretical support for the solution to the increasingly serious agricultural pollution. The paper comprehensively analyzes the agricultural production emission data which compares with the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC), to search for social economic factors of the pollution with econometric analysis model.(1)Observing the data of agricultural production emissions, it is obvious that the majority parts of pollution in Shandong province are caused by farmland fertilizer, agricultural residue, and livestock farming.(2)The paper analyzes the statistic data of agricultural pollution emissions and the rural economic development from Shandong province (1992-2013). The result shows that they have statistically matched the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC), i.e. significantly inverted U shaped relationship. The result indicates that with the development of Shandong agriculture economy, the emissions have gradually been reduced, which does not mean it will be solved without effort.(3)The dissertation evaluates the influence of economic on agriculture pollution through a model which takes agriculture economy, technology innovation, industrial structure, planting structure and the policy on agriculture pollution into consideration. The result points out that the agricultural pollution emissions will be climbing up as the proportion of animal husbandry increases. The statistic data reveals that the effort of technology innovation plays a important role on decrease the agricultural pollution, while the policy and method are very weak on preventing and controlling of the pollution.Concerning cost-effectiveness, operability, flexibility, and acceptability, the paper supplies the following suggestion to prevent and control agricultural production pollution. The administration has to, firstly, adjust the way of agricultural economy development such as striving to develop green agriculture, organic agriculture sustainable agriculture; at the same time, to improve the law and regulation system to monitor and control the agricultural production pollution; then, to explore economics methods to prevent and control the pollution, moreover, to establish and improve the monitoring and managing system on agricultural production pollution; finally, to strengthen the innovation and extension of environmental protection technology by establishing an environmental friendly agricultural production technical system.
