With the rapid growth of China’s economy,energy saving and environmental protection are more and more attentional. The extensive use of glass, such as architectures with large windows,transparent roof and car windows,the torrid rays of the sun will lead to air conditioning increasing and waste of energy. Therefore it has not only important theoretical significance,but broad market to study and develop a good transparency and heat insulation material to solve the problem of glass heat insulation.Acrylic resin with excellent oxidation resistance,weather resistance,film color shallow and corrosion resistance, widely used in many fields. Polyurethane has excellent high elasticity,folding,high temperature resistance,washable and other characteristics. If the two resins were combined,the film forming property,water resistance, flexibility, abrasion resistance and mechanical strength would be significantly improved. Nano antimony tin oxide(ATO) is a n-type semiconductor, with excellent optical transparency,infrared reflection,UV-shielding,can be widely applied in optoelectronic devices, piezoelectric materials, anti-static coating and transparent heat insulation material fields.The aqueous acrylic resin and polyurethane as membrane material,nano-antimony tin oxide(ATO) as filler,aqueous transparent heat insulation glass coating was prepared. A self-made insulation film temperature device and UV- visible- NIR spectrophotometer were used to measure thermal insulation properties and optical properties of the transparent insulation coatings,To study the ATO addition on the properties of coating film. The results showed that stable transparent insulation coating basd on acrylic resin and polyurethane composite prepared dispersion was obtained with addition of nano ATO slurry supplemented with dispersant after high-speed dispersion and ultrasonic dispersion.The coating not only had good film-forming properties,but also significant thermal insulation because compared with the blank glass contrast, insulation temperature difference of the film was up to 13.7 ℃ after 60 min irradiation by an infrared lamp. When the addition of Nano ATO slurry 9%, the film had good visible light transmittance and temperature difference of 7 ℃ compared with the blank glass.
