Modular Furniture Product Design Research

With the progress of society, People continuously put forward new requirements for daily product, Influence as design for People’s Daily life even for the development of the whole society is more and more big.Of course, the quality of life of people also continues to improve, a lot of families for children to prepare a separate bedroom, add a separate child furniture. The growing environment of children in the entire period of intellectual development is essential, children’s furniture is also increasingly subject to the attention of parents.The design of the study to children shelves for the carrier to practicality, based on efforts to achieve truly fit the needs of children furniture.Therefore, in order to make children’s furniture to better serve the children, whether it is in the function or design, we need further research on children’s furniture. Children’s furniture modular design to some extent to meet the needs of children furniture. The modular design of the structure in addition to meeting the basic use of functions, but also can stimulate the child’s imagination and practical ability.In view of this, the content of this research is aimed at starting from the children’s physical and mental characteristics, based on the theory of modular design, reasonable and scientific research and children furniture modular design method is discussed in this paper.
