Research On Modular Design Of Customized Furniture Based On Design For Manufacturing And Assembly

Personalization and practicability are important factors that people consider when choosing products.Compared with finished furniture,customized furniture is getting more and more attention from consumers.People began to pursue the quality and spiritual quality of living materials,bringing great market demand and industrial power to the furniture industry.Therefore,reducing product costs,improving product quality,and shortening the product development cycle have become the key to the survival and development of enterprises.DFMA(Design for Manufacturing and Assembly)technology can solve problems in product assembly and manufacturability in the early stages of product design.Modular design is also an important development direction for rapid design and mass customization in the future,but it cannot fundamentally solve the problem of low design success rate and continuous rework,which will reduce the advantages brought by modularity.The modular product design model based on DFMA technology can solve the rapid response of design quality,performance,cost and user demand,and adapt to the fierce market competition.Therefore,this paper proposes a modular product design model based on DFMA technology.In this paper,the two design ideas are merged,and the modular product design mode based on DFMA is studied.The design experiment of solid wood table is taken as an example to illustrate the modular design process of solid wood table for manufacturing and assembly,which is provided to the designers of solid wood furniture.reference.Following the basic principles of manufacturing and assembly,modular design is used to modularize the design of solid wood tables.Combined with modern design methods such as parametric design,the design of the product is optimized in the development of custom furniture.Start with the design of the product development project,change the original design methods and habits of the designer,and improve the efficiency of production and research.On this basis,build a framework for the service platform.Integrate R&D concepts such as product content,platformization,and module optimization into platform design,and connect R&D and sales.Based on the existing customized furniture platform,the platform design scheme is proposed,and the service design is used to provide the advantages of product empowerment,providing consumers with differentiated user experience and service experience,and providing reference for customized furniture enterprises.
