Analysis Of Pesticide Residues And Metal In Lutein And Capsanthin

Handan is the main area of natural pigment production in china,the marigold lutein and capsanthin colour production and sales ranked first in the country. Because of raw materials and processing technology,natural edible pigment may contain some harmful substances. In this paper,two kinds of mainly natural pigment productionin in Handan area——marigold lutein and capsanthin colour were choosed as the main research object,the following experiments were designed to detect the toxic and harmful substances in these two kinds of pigment and there raw materials, and made a comparative analysis.In this paper, the Ultraviolet spectrophotometry,Liquid chromatography,Gas chromatography, Mass spectrometry, and the detection methods which referenced to national standards of organic phosphorus pesticides, organochlorine pesticides,were used for made a determination and analysis of marigold and lutein, capsicum and capsanthin colour in a variety of pesticides; the Atomic fluorescence spectrometer, Atomic absorption spectrophotometer and the detection methods,which referenced to national standards of heavy metals,were used for made a determination and analysis of marigold and lutein, capsicum and capsanthin colour.The results showed that higher detection rate of pesticide in lutein,especially the detection of Methamidophos pesticide, in the production process of lutein,there may be about this kind of pesticide residues and enrichment. Arsenic and cadmium in lutein exceed the standard risk exists. Cypermethrin and chlorpyrifos exceed the standard detection in Capsanthin,it’s found that the content of two kinds of pesticide residues in the corresponding material contrast, contented of cypermethrin and chlorpyrifos in capsicum is lower.In the production process of capsanthin,there may be about two kinds of pesticide residues and enrichment,the specific reasons to be further studied.
