Weft-knitted jacquard shoe fabrics knit with multi-color filament and organization structure. It not only has the characteristics of soft, comfortable, low carbon environmental protection, but also has the advantages of good formability, functional zoning and three-dimensional structure. This improves the shoe’s grade and added value, increase the competitiveness of the products. Weft-knitted jacquard shoe fabrics account for a growing share of the knitting vamp, have good prospects for development. Currently, there are still some limitations in the development of weft knitted jacquard shoe fabrics, such as the use of raw fabrics is single, unreasonable knitting process parameters, different performance of vamp, etc. Therefore, the study of development and properties of weft knitted jacquard material is a very meaningful topic. Therefore the development and performance of weft knitted jacquard upper fabrics is a very meaningful subject.Firstly, the principles of developing weft-knitted jacquard upper fabrics are introduced in this paper, which includes knitting principles, raw fabrics design, setting up sample plate, distinguishing functional areas and model shape deign. On the basis of the advanced Santoni double-sided two-way jacquard circular knitting machine, the author points the main feature of machine and low melting point of leather core wire required to develop weft-knitted jacquard upper material; in addition, a series of shoes model plates are put up, and raised a basic method of functional areas model shape deign.Secondly, the technical parameters design and its optimization of weft-knitted jacquard vamp fabrics are deeply researched. It established a tissue bank based on the air layer color jacquard, and raised the design methods of little color jacquard and structure jacquard which is applicable to the vamp fabrics. And then, to obtain preferred technical parameters of weft-knitted jacquard vamp fabrics, orthogonal experimental design method has been adopted in this paper to analyze effects of yarn thickness, machine density, specifications of sheath core wire, take-down value, heat setting temperature, heat setting time and heat setting pressure on gram weight, bending length and bending stiffness of vamp fabrics, which draws the best experimental condition:yarn density 83.3tex、machine density (11.9,11.5)、 specifications of sheath core wire 16.7tex、take-down value 5、heat setting temperature 200℃、heat setting time 20s、heat setting pressure 0.6MT.Thirdly, in order to explore the effect of finishing setting temperature and setting time on the physical performance of vamp fabrics.Designed a series of experiments under different setting temperature, and setting time.Setting conditions are closely related to shoes’physical parameters and mechanical properties, as size,weight, thickness, stiffness, tensile fracture, top breaking performance and wear resistance.Finally, analyzed the characteristics of weft knitted jacquard leisure and jacquard sports series, binding of weft knitting pattern design software and process design software, a series of technical design for casual and sport weft knitted jacquard shoes fabric are fully provided, which will be eye-opening and provoking, thus an effective and efficient method to design the weft-knitted jacquard shoes fabric comes into being.This project belongs to the textile engineering field, in particular the fabrics of knitted jacquard vamp. The research in this paper provides a reference for the development of textile, and has certain theoretical significance and practical value.
